I don’t know why.
Maybe it’s our generation.
But Jadie and I seem to be addicted…yes that’s right…ADDICTED…to the internet.
Today, it went out!!!!! We honestly didn’t know what to do. I wonder what the one thing most people can’t live without is.
Internet for us… Anyone willing to admit addiction?

Clint,
It’s not a generation thing, it’s the telephone!
Way before your time, there was no way to communicate with someone other than seeing them in person or hand-writing them a letter on a piece of paper. Then all that changed and a device that allowed you to instantly engage with someone without seeing them and without writing anything – the telephone!! It changed the world!!!
My guess is that as people had access to this new technology (the phone) that they found it fascinating and couldn’t get enough. In fact, some probably even became “addicted”.
I’m sure I am addicted to stuff. Of course I tend to view it as being “passionate” about it. I guess my way of justification. Hunting, social media, “last man on Earth” movies, chocolate milk just to name a few.
Interesting blog and thanks for posting, and for asking the question.
